Design & Concept
E-10 is an executive desk line that evolves from the X10 collection, introducing refined structural and finishing tweaks. Its design emphasizes a “dialogue” between the desk top and its supports: the top and legs are conceived together to create a harmonious balance of solids and voids, rather than simply sitting one upon the other.
Options include versions with a carved modesty panel, meeting-table adaptations, or with return/side units. The aesthetic is executive, elegant, and visually cohesive.
Materials & Finishes
Desktop / Top Surface
• Main top is made of 18 mm veneered MDF board, with a semi-open pore/matt transparent veneer varnish. The wood veneer is about 0.6 mm thick. Edges are 90° folded, forming side edges ≈ 50 mm high, where grain aligns with the top. The density of these panels is ~ 720-790 kg/m³.
• Optional versions include leather inlays: these are made from 18 mm melamine-faced particle board (MFC), with the outer surface covered in 1.3 mm abrasion-resistant leather, edged with decorative stitching.
Legs & Supports
• Wood veneer panel legs: 50 mm veneered MFC with 0.6 mm veneer, edges (1 mm), radiused corners, and steel beams (60 × 30 mm, 1.5 mm thickness) for reinforcement.
• Melamine panel legs also offered: 50 mm thick MFC with straight ABS edges; wide range of colours available. Legs are L-shaped (folded / mitred) for continuity of form.
Modesty Panel & Optional Elements
• Optional modesty panel in 8 mm veneered MDF. Finish matches top; brackets in powder-coated steel. Decorative options such as perforations are possible.
• Cable management: metal flap cable doors, soft-close cable trays, tilting or demountable cable baskets are available so that wires remain discrete.
Dimensions & Variants
The desk comes in multiple size options; typical dimensions for the top surface are (length × depth): e.g. 240×80 cm, 320×80 cm, 400×80 cm, 480×80 cm etc. Height is around H ≈ 113-114 cm for certain models with modesty panels; note these measurements may refer to versions with extensions (returns) or accessory units.
Many finish combinations available (wood types, leather inlay colours, leg finishes) allow customisation to suit different interior styles.
Aesthetic & Experience
Visually, E-10 delivers a sense of elegance, symmetry, and refined craftsmanship. The alignment of the fold edges, perfect grain continuity, and high-quality veneer mask any “mass” and give it a premium, tailored look.
The optional leather inlay adds a tactile contrast and premium texture, making parts of the top both functional and luxurious.
Leg design (either veneered or lacquered/melamine) gives flexibility: in some versions the continuity of material creates a warm, wood-filled look; in others the legs contrast in colour or finish for visual interest.
Practical Considerations & Use Cases
E-10 is ideal for executive / managerial offices, luxury reception or private offices, boardrooms, or spaces where the desk is a focal piece.
Because of its solid materials, edge detailing, and optional accessories, E-10 works best in spaces that allow viewing from multiple angles (so the aesthetics are appreciated).
Cable management accessories are very helpful; specifying trays or flaps up front is important to maintain clean appearance.
Lead times are non-trivial: standard production is 5 weeks (excluding delivery) for many finish combinations.
