Design & Concept
Type_7 embodies Bugatti’s design DNA: elegance through contrasts, precision, and automotive heritage distilled into furniture. It reflects the Bugatti “C-line” motif — that signature curved line found in many Bugatti car designs — but reinterpreted in wood and fine detailing for the home or executive office. The piece is meant not only to function as a desk but also to act as a statement of craftsmanship, lightness, and luxury.
Materials & Finish Options
Leg / Structural Elements: One side features a curved wood leg in veneer options like Natural Oak, Blue Oak or Black Oak, with a matte finish. The other side is a vertical support in wood, finished in either Silver Metal or Graphite Metal (matte).
Desktop / Top: The top is veneer-wood (matching the leg’s veneer options) with a recessed leather inlay (underlay or working pad) to add tactile comfort and luxury.
Drawer Unit: There is an integrated drawer unit (“cassettiera”) suspended above the floor (“sospeso”), with drawer front and back in leather, and frame in metal (matching the metal finishes used on the vertical support). The elevated positioning gives the desk a floating, lighter visual presence.
Metal / Details: All metallic parts (aluminium details, supports, finishes) available in options like Silver Metal or Graphite Metal, matte finish. Opted to complement the wood veneers.

Features & Functionality
The curved wood leg on one side isn’t just decorative: it contributes to structure, helps define the aesthetic “fold” of the top, giving one side a dramatic drop or “folding over” visual.
Concealed / recessed leather pad (“working surface”) helps protect the desktop and provides a refined area for writing / placing devices.
Drawer unit elevated off the floor reduces visual clutter under the desk and gives more lightness to the piece.
